Happy Birthday Mrs. Nichols!!

Happy Birthday Mrs. Nichols! On Thursday the Preschool surprised Mrs. Nichols by singing her happy birthday! and a BIG big thanks to  Mrs. Nancy who brought in some brownies for everyone to share to celebrate!                                                                            Surprise!!!! Make a wish! :)   Today with the cold weather the preschool rooms switched to have our "indoor recess" in a different space! They really enjoyed exploring and playing with all the new toys in the rooms.   Hope everyone has a great weekend and see you Monday! :)

Snow Fun!

The Preschoolers have been enjoying the snow we have out on our playground. We have been sliding, playing hide-and-go-seek, and even trying to be penguins and sliding on our bellies!       Having our delayed start to our morning, preschoolers got to continue their morning play with sand, ice painting and sorting shapes!                                                              Concentrating so hard!!   Some serious Police Officers looking for their walkie-talkies!

Chilly Week!

This week both preschool rooms did a lot of painting! Ms. Caitlin's room did some bear-face art to go along with our hibernation theme, and Mrs. Nichols room did some beautiful valentines art! Both classrooms have been getting outside even in this colder weather. (As a reminder please send in heavy duty mittens to keep our preschoolers happy and warm!) We have been doing some awesome sledding as well as finding "ice chunks" to play with. We decided to bring the outdoors in and played with ice and animals in our sensory table. The students had a great time trying to crack the ice to free the animals as well as figure out how to get them out using water and pipettes.   Also this week both classrooms received some new baby dolls to add to our collection. Along with the dolls we have added to our animal and classroom collection of things to do! The students were so excited to help us open the boxes and play with the new materials, it was like Christmas in Februa
