Montshire Field Trip!

Today all three preschools got to the Montshire Museum! We had such a great time looking at the Dinosaur exhibit, and all the other things the Montshire has to offer. Take a look at some of the great pictures of our fun day! :)

VINS: Snakes!!!!

  A REAL snake came to visit the classroom! Hannah, from VINS, visited again last week and brought a garter snake for the kids to see and even touch. We learned about what they eat, where they live, and how they shed their skin as they grow. The highlight of the day was the very funny puppet show and getting to touch the snake. Snake Bingo What do garter snakes eat? Through the puppet show and the Bingo game, the students learned that garter snakes prey on mice, fish, frogs, crayfish, snails, slugs, and more. Snake Skin When snakes grow, they shed their skin. Snake Habitat Game The REAL thing!!
