Adventures In WES Preschool!

The preschoolers had a few nice days to get outside and burn off some energy this week. We sure do love when we see the sunshine! We have had a few picnics outside at snack time, as well as adventuring to the big playground. The preschoolers love being outside and exploring this time of year! We have noticed flowers and leaves popping out everywhere! Yay!  This week we also got to go on a walking field trip to the West Fairlee Library at the Town Hall. We had Mrs. Viola, the Librarian, read us a couple of silly stories and surprise us with a special snack of juice and cookies! Thanks Mrs. Viola! **Important Reminders** - No School Monday May 27th to observe Memorial Day. - The end of the year celebration is Tuesday June 18th at 5:30. Stay tuned for information as well as a sign up sheet for the potluck dinner! -Last day of School is June 20th!

The preschoolers had a wet and cold spring field trip to the Mountain School on Friday. Even with the not so ideal weather, the preschoolers did a great job and seemed to have fun exploring the Mountain School campus as well as the baby animals!  A big thank you to Sam, Makenna, and Missy for touring us around and showing us what makes the Mountain School special. Thank you so much! **Important Reminders** Please remember that your preschooler needs to still have a light jacket or sweatshirt. Even though it is supposed to be a lot warmer, cool weather has been hanging around and making morning recess chilly! - Wednesday May 15th, the preschoolers are going on their walking field trip to the West Fairlee Library. Stay tuned for a notice/information. - No School May 27th to observe Memorial Day. - Save the Date!!! The preschool end of the year celebration is Tuesday June 18th at 5:30!

 The preschoolers had a very special week this week. First off they met their 4th grade buddies on Thursday, and really had a great time getting to know them as well as listening to some fun stories! For the rest of the year, we will be meeting up with our buddies to listen to stories and chat! On Friday, the preschoolers said goodbye to Mrs. Ashley with a pizza and ice cream party!! We will miss her but we plan on saying hi to her and Beckett whenever we see them in the hallway! Doing some fun water color art to make our room more bright and cheerful! Preschoolers love dirt and worms! **Important Reminders** -The Field trip to the Mountain School is this coming Friday, May 10th! Please sign up in our homeroom! -We will also be taking a walking field trip to the West Fairlee Library on Wednesday, May 15th! Notices will go home the week before to remind parents. **Parents do not have to attend the field trip**
