Welcome Mrs. Ashley!!

Image
We want to give a big welcome to Mrs. Ashley Bean! She has started this week in preschool and has already made herself right at home! We are so excited to get to know her and have her apart of our preschool family!! What a crazy winter weather week we had! When we were at school, the preschoolers did a lot of snow activities to celebrate all the wonderful new snow we got over the weekend! We painted snow with squirt bottles and watched colors mix in the snow. We then plowed the snow with construction vehicles and shaving cream and finally, we wrapped the week with creating our own planet and talking about if we would live on a snowy planet or a warmer planet. Be on the look out for your preschoolers amazing planets they created! **Important Reminders** - February Break is the week of the 18th.

Snow inside???

What?? Snow inside? The preschoolers enjoyed some artic animals in some REAL snow in our sensory table. They made igloos, dens, and went swimming in the snow! The preschoolers also created beautiful oil pastel drawings, then painted over them with watercolors. The drawing and paintings came out beautiful and we can not wait to finish them all and display them!  **Important Reminders** - No School on Monday, January 21st. -February break is the week of the 18th. Hope everyone enjoys all the snow we are supposed to get this weekend! Stay safe and warm! :)

So much fun snow!!

This week the preschoolers have been enjoying the wonderful new snow we got on Wednesday! They shoveled, sled, and made paths with their feet around the playground! With this new and fun snow, it has also sparked some fun snow activities that we have been doing inside during our free play times. We built snowflakes with rubber bands and geo-boards! We played with animals in snow! And we made some of our own snowy owls! We sure have been busy with snow and lots of other fun things! **Important Reminders** - Parents please remember to fill out the weekly breakfast and lunch sign ups on Monday. It is VERY helpful to know before hand who will be getting a meal so there is no confusion or tears come lunchtime. Also, please let your homeroom teachers know if your preschooler will be getting a lunch milk daily. - No school on Monday Jan. 21 to observe MLK day. -February Break is the week of the 18th-22nd

We love singing and trying new instruments! "Jammies!!" This week the preschoolers have been "visiting" the grocery store and buying so many yummy things for their babies and friends. The store has been super busy, and the cashiers have been trying to keep up! The preschoolers also did some fun snow experiments with water color and snow chunks as well as some fun hand painting! **Important Reminders** -No School on Monday Jan. 21st to celebrate MLK day.
