On Thursday the Preschool surprised Mrs. Nichols by singing her happy birthday! and a BIG big thanks to  Mrs. Nancy who brought in some brownies for everyone to share to celebrate!

Today with the cold weather the preschool rooms switched to have our "indoor recess" in a different space! They really enjoyed exploring and playing with all the new toys in the rooms.

VINS: Snakes!!!!

  A REAL snake came to visit the classroom! Hannah, from VINS, visited again last week and brought a garter snake for the kids to see and even touch. We learned about what they eat, where they live, and how they shed their skin as they grow. The highlight of the day was the very funny puppet show and getting to touch the snake. Snake Bingo What do garter snakes eat? Through the puppet show and the Bingo game, the students learned that garter snakes prey on mice, fish, frogs, crayfish, snails, slugs, and more. Snake Skin When snakes grow, they shed their skin. Snake Habitat Game The REAL thing!!
