We Miss the Kids!
Dear preschool parents,
We hope you have all enjoyed the vacation and are particularly enjoying this beautiful sunny day. Hopefully everyone will get outside and enjoy the sun and snow today.
This week is officially a remote school week. As you all know, before the break we sent home “remote learning” packets with worksheets and activities to do this week. There will also be activities posted on Seesaw every day. Please check out Seesaw and choose the activities that look fun to you. As always, we feel that playing outside, building with blocks, legos…, playing dress up, doing puzzles, creating art projects and reading books are the most important aspects of preschool. The worksheets that we sent home and the activities that we post on Seesaw are ideas and activities for you to do with your children if they help, but you are welcome and encouraged to choose your own preschool related activities to do instead.
From the feedback that we got from you all, there was very little interest in doing a zoom meeting this week, so we have decided to concentrate on all the director work that we need to catch up on. Please reach out by emailing or calling us if there is ANYTHING more that we can do to support you this week. We are happy to talk over the phone or schedule an individual zoom meeting with you and/or your child.
We’re looking forward to having the kids back in school next week. The school is way too quiet and just doesn’t seem right without the kids.
Heidi, Caitlin, Brittany, Melissa P., and Meg
