 Last Days of Winter (Hopefully)

The kids are enjoying the last days/weeks we have with the snow.  The snowshoes and shovels keep them smiling, but they've especially enjoyed using the blue tubs as sleds.  It's been a blast to watch them try out different ways to slide down the hill in the tubs, sometimes using one tub other times using two or more.  Sometimes they balance on top, and other times the sit inside.  You can see them thinking as they attempt different ways of going down the hill.  So much fun!

Row, row, row your boat... A good core workout! Southworth Park

Southworth Park We've taken advantage of the beautiful weather that we've had over the past couple of Tuesdays and have hiked to Southworth Park for fun and adventures.  Ms. Beth, our outdoor educator, has built a fire with the kids, and we've made popcorn and hot chocolate. The kids have enjoyed digging in the dirt, finding worms, building fairy houses, playing tag and so much more.  It's always enjoyable to read books and eat snack up there too. A few of the second graders even joined us one day.
