Adventures In WES Preschool!

From Egg to Chick  After weeks of waiting, watching, and observing our incubator full of eggs, our eager anticipation has finally been satisfied.  We have 8 chicks so far.  The students even got to watch and listen to our newest chick while she chirped and cracked her way out of her egg.  It's been a super exciting process to observe. A hatching chick! Our newest chick.  We named her Hey Hey. We now have 8 chicks.  Come check them out. Reminders : * No school on Monday - Happy Memorial Day! * June 7th - Treasure Island field trip from 9:00 - 2:00 ( Please send in your permission slip and money or let me know that your child will not be attending the field trip). * June 7th - End of the year celebration from 5:30 - 6:00 * June 8th - Last day of Preschool

 

Last week was hot and perfect for getting wet!  We spent most of our time outside.  We did our best to keep cool by splashing in the pools, running through the spray from the hose and wading in the river.  The was lots of smiles and laughter throughout the week. With water comes mud. With mud comes more fun and laughter.  

 Fun in the Sun! We went to the BIG kid playground today and had a ball!  We're loving the beautiful weather we've been having and are taking advantage of every minute.         Preschool parents, As the temperatures increase we are again spending most of our day outside.   A few reminders: Please put sunscreen and bug spray on your child before they arrive. Send in sunscreen and bug spray with your child’s name on them if you want us to reapply during the day.   Please make sure you do a tick check every night .   We have already found several ticks on children this spring. Don’t forget to send in a water bottle every day.   The kids get thirsty when we’re outside all day. Please send in extra shorts and t-shirts .   It’s frequently chilly in the morning and hot by the afternoon.   Many of the kids want to change into shorts and a t-shirt by the end of the day.
