Happy Birthday to Kaleb!

Image
Happy Birthday to Kaleb!  On Thursday he joined the 5's club! Thanks for sharing some yummy treats for your big day! Eating some yummy cupcakes! This week in preschool we did some switching of classrooms between Mrs. Nichols class and Mrs. Leonard's. With all the ice outside, we have not been able to go out that much and enjoy the outdoors. We spent our normal recess time by going to the gym and exploring the different classroom spaces. Although we love going outside, it was fun to try something different! Hopefully we get some snow or warmer temps for next week! Some strong construction workers! **Some Important Reminders!** - We try and go to the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays, boots are not ideal for running or riding the bikes with. Please have a pair of good running shoes available for your preschooler on those days so they can enjoy the gym to the fullest! -Returning parents for next year, please fill out

Busy busy week!

What a busy week! We have been having so much fun this week in preschool, the week just flew by! The preschoolers have been exploring "new" classroom set ups and stations, as well as some new toys in both classrooms.  In Mrs. Nichols room, preschoolers have been playing in the sand table, doing lots of letter work, and painting on the easel. They have made some beautiful artwork over the course of the week. Check out their name artwork displayed in their room. :)  In Mrs. L's class, preschoolers have been construction workers/fire fighters. They have built some amazing towers and pipes for water to go through to put out all the "fires" we have. We have also been exploring the story The Mitten  by Jan Brett. Be on the look out for your preschoolers mitten! Some fun puzzle work! Sand box fun! Silly dress up! :) **Important Reminders** - If you have not filled out a Parent Survey yet, we would love

Rainy Friday

Image
Happy Friday!  Being stuck inside all day on Friday called for some messy fun! The preschoolers made some beautiful art with their hands and paper towel rolls. We hope to finish our rain sticks next week! This week the preschoolers have been really enjoying being fire men and women and putting out all the fires that pop up around our room! Here is one of the Captains putting out a fire in the kitchen area! The preschoolers also did a lot of trips on the "bus" as well today. Good day for a ride around town! Building some robots and robot heads! We have also been working hard on practicing writing our letters! Great job preschoolers! We hope everyone has a great weekend and stays safe in all this weather we are suppose to be getting! We have no school Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  We will see you all Tuesday!

Happy New Years!!

Welcome Back! We hope everyone had a restful and wonderful holiday break. The preschoolers all seem ready and eager to kick off the new year.  What a crazy weather week it has been! We are hoping that this arctic air will move on out so we can get out and enjoy all the new snow we have gotten the past few days! Please remember to pack extra mittens and layers for your preschooler. We love playing outside, but hate being cold and wet! Also the preschool staff wants to thank all the families that donated sleds and art supplies /crafts to the Preschool program. We appreciate it greatly!! :) Magna-tile fun!! **Important Reminders** - No School on Jan. 15th for MLK Day.
