Busy busy week!

What a busy week! We have been having so much fun this week in preschool, the week just flew by! The preschoolers have been exploring "new" classroom set ups and stations, as well as some new toys in both classrooms. 
In Mrs. Nichols room, preschoolers have been playing in the sand table, doing lots of letter work, and painting on the easel. They have made some beautiful artwork over the course of the week. Check out their name artwork displayed in their room. :)
 In Mrs. L's class, preschoolers have been construction workers/fire fighters. They have built some amazing towers and pipes for water to go through to put out all the "fires" we have. We have also been exploring the story The Mitten by Jan Brett. Be on the look out for your preschoolers mitten!

Row, row, row your boat... A good core workout! Southworth Park

Southworth Park We've taken advantage of the beautiful weather that we've had over the past couple of Tuesdays and have hiked to Southworth Park for fun and adventures.  Ms. Beth, our outdoor educator, has built a fire with the kids, and we've made popcorn and hot chocolate. The kids have enjoyed digging in the dirt, finding worms, building fairy houses, playing tag and so much more.  It's always enjoyable to read books and eat snack up there too. A few of the second graders even joined us one day.
