Water Fun!

Preschool spent the morning playing with the sprinkler (Thanks Cooper!), washing toys, and playing in the water table! We got soaked but we had a blast!

Tomorrow we are taking our little walking field trip up to Southworth park! Please remember that your preschoolers will need good walking shoes and a water bottle! :) Please be on time for school!
 
*Last day of school is this Friday the 16th at 1:00 pm!

VINS: Snakes!!!!

  A REAL snake came to visit the classroom! Hannah, from VINS, visited again last week and brought a garter snake for the kids to see and even touch. We learned about what they eat, where they live, and how they shed their skin as they grow. The highlight of the day was the very funny puppet show and getting to touch the snake. Snake Bingo What do garter snakes eat? Through the puppet show and the Bingo game, the students learned that garter snakes prey on mice, fish, frogs, crayfish, snails, slugs, and more. Snake Skin When snakes grow, they shed their skin. Snake Habitat Game The REAL thing!!
