Snow fun!

We had SNOW much fun with all the new snow we have outside! We went sliding, shoveled paths, and rolled in the snow. We had a blast!














Also this week Mrs. Jane came and shared the story of Hanukkah with both classrooms. We got to see a menorah and how it is lit. We learned a traditional Hanukkah dance and song. The preschoolers really enjoyed learning about another holiday that is going on right now!

VINS: Snakes!!!!

  A REAL snake came to visit the classroom! Hannah, from VINS, visited again last week and brought a garter snake for the kids to see and even touch. We learned about what they eat, where they live, and how they shed their skin as they grow. The highlight of the day was the very funny puppet show and getting to touch the snake. Snake Bingo What do garter snakes eat? Through the puppet show and the Bingo game, the students learned that garter snakes prey on mice, fish, frogs, crayfish, snails, slugs, and more. Snake Skin When snakes grow, they shed their skin. Snake Habitat Game The REAL thing!!
