What a great and busy week back after Spring break! The preschoolers have been outside a lot  enjoying the beautiful weather we have had this week, and also celebrating that we do not have to wear snow gear anymore!! yay Spring is finally here!! As a reminder please send in layers for your preschooler. We know that days are warming up, but the mornings have still been crisp and cool and we still need coats or a sweatshirt to play comfortably outside. Thank you!  On Thursday we had Missy, Henry Atticus's mom come in and help us celebrate Earth day by creating our own interpretation of the planet Earth. We read the story Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers. The story explained how we need to take care of our planet and how we need be kind to one another. We really enjoyed talking and planning out what our Earth would look like. They all came out absolutely beautiful! To end the week, we had a fun pajama/stuffy day alon...

Chicken, Chickens everywhere! The preschoolers were so excited to have our special visitors join our classroom last week! We have many eggs with baby chicks or ducklings just waiting to hatch! We have been waiting so patiently to see when they will pop out and say hi! Over the weekend two baby chicks came along and just today before snack another one popped out! :) We were so excited and couldn't believe that we got to see the complete hatching of our latest chick! Stay tuned for names! Also, last week we made some beautiful spring artwork to decorate our classroom as well as our bulletin board with. We made flowers and painted some bright and cheery spring pictures with glitter paint. We are hopeful for flowers and warmer days soon! Also, on Friday of last week Kyle's grandpa brought us in a special treat of some yummy maple syrup that he made with Kyle. We made some pancakes to top off the special occasion! Yum! ...
