Lovin' the Brook!

Our trip to brook was a huge hit.  The kids loved throwing rocks into the water, playing with sticks, digging in the sand, stacking rocks, playing in the water and even getting wet.  With the help of lots of adults we can keep the kids safe and still let them explore the natural habitat around them.  We had lots of smiles all around!

Row, row, row your boat... A good core workout! Southworth Park

Southworth Park We've taken advantage of the beautiful weather that we've had over the past couple of Tuesdays and have hiked to Southworth Park for fun and adventures.  Ms. Beth, our outdoor educator, has built a fire with the kids, and we've made popcorn and hot chocolate. The kids have enjoyed digging in the dirt, finding worms, building fairy houses, playing tag and so much more.  It's always enjoyable to read books and eat snack up there too. A few of the second graders even joined us one day.
