Last week our school had the privilege of naming a VT State plow. The SNOW RAPTOR came today to show off it's new name and visit the kids who named it! It was pretty exciting to see such a big truck.

The Harvest Feast!

The preschool joined the rest of the school in the gym for a Harvest Lunch to celebrate Veterans.  Three veterans, including Edith's dad, joined us for the special lunch.

VINS: Snakes!!!!

  A REAL snake came to visit the classroom! Hannah, from VINS, visited again last week and brought a garter snake for the kids to see and even touch. We learned about what they eat, where they live, and how they shed their skin as they grow. The highlight of the day was the very funny puppet show and getting to touch the snake. Snake Bingo What do garter snakes eat? Through the puppet show and the Bingo game, the students learned that garter snakes prey on mice, fish, frogs, crayfish, snails, slugs, and more. Snake Skin When snakes grow, they shed their skin. Snake Habitat Game The REAL thing!!
