Quail Chicks

Quail Chicks

Over the last month, the students and staff have been patient (and not so patiently at times) watching and waiting for our quail chicks to hatch.  We monitored the incubator, made sure the heat was at the right temperature and the humidity remained steady, and we rotated the eggs.  Finally, last week, the chicks hatched- 9 of them! It was a super exciting week.  The kids all got to gently pet the quail chicks and some even asked to hold them. It was well worth the wait.

Some of the kids read to the eggs and chicks to make the happy.
