Building, Investigating, & Fun!

The past few weeks the Preschoolers have been diving right into all the fun activities happening in the classrooms. Mrs. Nichols classroom has been working with mirrors and light. Also they have been building up a storm with a variety of materials. In Ms. Caitlin's class, preschoolers have been mixing colors and working on what animals live in warm weather and what animals live in the cold climates.

*Monday January 16th there is NO SCHOOL to observe Martin Luther King's Day.

Row, row, row your boat... A good core workout! Southworth Park

Southworth Park We've taken advantage of the beautiful weather that we've had over the past couple of Tuesdays and have hiked to Southworth Park for fun and adventures.  Ms. Beth, our outdoor educator, has built a fire with the kids, and we've made popcorn and hot chocolate. The kids have enjoyed digging in the dirt, finding worms, building fairy houses, playing tag and so much more.  It's always enjoyable to read books and eat snack up there too. A few of the second graders even joined us one day.
