End of the Year Prep

Busy Week!
 
The preschoolers have been on the move this week getting ready for their end of the year celebration! We have been working hard on our banner as well as other projects for friends and family. We hope to see everyone next Thursday at 5:00 for our potluck/cook out celebration! :) *cross your fingers for good weather~!*
 
 

 





 
Also this week the "next year kindergartners" worked on the story The Rainbow Fish with Mrs. Jane and Mrs. Nicole. They worked hard mixing blues, greens, and white paint to make the perfect shade of blue for their Rainbow Fish. They also worked hard on their cutting skills. Cutting paper plates was a hard work out for their hands!
 
 


 

 

 

 
 

 
 
**Important Reminders**
 
-The end of the year Celebration is on Thursday, June 14th at 5:00pm on the back lawn.
-The last day of afterschool care is on Thursday, June 14th.
-The last day of school is on Monday, June 18th at 1:00 pm. Information will go home for families next week on a small hike we are planning up to Southworth Park on the last day!

Southworth Park

Southworth Park We've taken advantage of the beautiful weather that we've had over the past couple of Tuesdays and have hiked to Southworth Park for fun and adventures.  Ms. Beth, our outdoor educator, has built a fire with the kids, and we've made popcorn and hot chocolate. The kids have enjoyed digging in the dirt, finding worms, building fairy houses, playing tag and so much more.  It's always enjoyable to read books and eat snack up there too. A few of the second graders even joined us one day.
