Great to be Back!

BACK IN PERSON

 It's great to be back in person.  Despite only being remote for four days, it seemed like a long time because of the Thanksgiving break.  The kids were excited to see each other and played well together all day.  Check out the fun activities we did today while inside.


Everyone enjoyed playing in the sand table.



We started painting bird feeders.

 






There was talk of colors and shapes while copying and making our own designs.



Plenty of imaginative play went on as well.


It's not a day at preschool without some kind of truck play.


And our beginning engineers created fantastic vehicles.

Southworth Park We've taken advantage of the beautiful weather that we've had over the past couple of Tuesdays and have hiked to Southworth Park for fun and adventures.  Ms. Beth, our outdoor educator, has built a fire with the kids, and we've made popcorn and hot chocolate. The kids have enjoyed digging in the dirt, finding worms, building fairy houses, playing tag and so much more.  It's always enjoyable to read books and eat snack up there too. A few of the second graders even joined us one day.

 Fun in the Outdoor Classroom We continue to have fun and learn in our outdoor classroom. Last Tuesday we read an ABC book with alphabet photographs from nature. We then looked for and made our own letters out of nature. Check out the letters we made.
