MATH

As the spring slowly arrives, it is the time of year that we start formally assessing the preschoolers again to see how they have progressed since the fall assessment. The good news is that all of the preschoolers are making fantastic progress!

The pictures below are examples of some of the math assessments we've been doing.

Sorting by vehicle type (cars, trains, buses...)

Sorting by size (small medium large)

Measuring (6 buses long)

Graphing (Which size elephant has the most/least in its group?)

Identifying shapes and colors, Matching, Problem Solving, Fine Motor skills, Working together...

Patterns (red, yellow, red yellow...)

Counting (to 10, 20 or beyond) and Identifying Numbers
