From Egg to Chick 

After weeks of waiting, watching, and observing our incubator full of eggs, our eager anticipation has finally been satisfied.  We have 8 chicks so far.  The students even got to watch and listen to our newest chick while she chirped and cracked her way out of her egg.  It's been a super exciting process to observe.

*No school on Monday - Happy Memorial Day!

*June 7th - Treasure Island field trip from 9:00 - 2:00 (Please send in your permission slip and money or let me know that your child will not be attending the field trip).

*June 7th - End of the year celebration from 5:30 - 6:00

*June 8th - Last day of Preschool

Row, row, row your boat... A good core workout! Southworth Park

Southworth Park We've taken advantage of the beautiful weather that we've had over the past couple of Tuesdays and have hiked to Southworth Park for fun and adventures.  Ms. Beth, our outdoor educator, has built a fire with the kids, and we've made popcorn and hot chocolate. The kids have enjoyed digging in the dirt, finding worms, building fairy houses, playing tag and so much more.  It's always enjoyable to read books and eat snack up there too. A few of the second graders even joined us one day.
