Color and Water Experimenting The kids had a great time playing with colored water. While experimenting with mixing colors and surface tension, the kids unknowingly worked on their small motor pincer grip and learned a bit about how yellow and blue make green, red and blue make purple, and yellow and red make orange. All the colors together make a brownish black. Yet another way to learn while playing.
