First Week of Preschool

First Week of Preschool 2021

We've had a fantastic first week of preschool school.  The kids and staff are getting to know each other and having fun doing all sorts of activities from painting and drawing to climbing and digging.  We've built sand castles, rock structures, Magna Tile towers and more.  This year the preschoolers are also getting a chance to go to PE, music, art, and Library.  What a treat!

On Thursday we walked to the brook and and played in the water and sand.  The kids loved to see which rocks made big splashes and which made small ones. We talked a lot about safety: how deep they can wade, how and where to throw rocks so as not to hit anyone, and where to walk so as not to walk in front of a hurling rock.  They did a great job being careful, staying safe and having fun.

Don't forget that Monday is Labor Day, so we don't have school.  We'll see you all on Tuesday.  Have a great weekend.
